PTO Meeting & Parent Education Night

Tuesday, December 13th – PTO meeting at 6:00 pm followed by a FREE PIZZA DINNER as you learn about Boundaries, Self Esteem, Healthy Friendships, Cooperation and more as part of the “Parent Education” Program at Jackson Via School. See you there!

Kids’ Night Out TONIGHT!!

Friday, November 18th.  We’ll be watching Cars 2! Bring your whole family or drop your kids at 6:30.  Students can come in their PJ’s, bring sleeping bags and pillows, and settle in for a movie in the auditorium. Popcorn at intermission!  Suggested donation is $4.00/person at the door. Younger siblings are welcome with an adult present.

Kid Pan Alley Perfomance TONIGHT!

Please bring friends and family to the Kid Pan Alley concert tonight, Friday, October 7th at 6:30.  This is a program that inspires kids use their imaginations to record music during a weeklong artist residency this week. CDs of the children’s songs will be available for purchase. See you there!

We are very excited about the 2011 -2012 school year. The PTO has many great activities planned and are always looking for new ones.  Many hands are needed all year long for different events. School Directory:
We will be creating a 2011-2012 School Directory this year! These are great for arranging playdates, sending birthday invitations, etc. If you would like to have your child’s name and contact information included in the directory, please email us at jacksonviapto@gmail.com. Include childs name, grade, teacher, phone number, address and email. Having your child’s name listed is completely optional!

Yearbook Survey:
We are looking at creating a school yearbook this year and wanted to see if families would be interested in purchasing an end-of-the-year yeabook for under $10. Please let us know your thoughts!
